Sandy Freire'S Cherry Surprise - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans (1 lb. 5 oz. each) prepared cherry pie filling
    1 pkg. white cake mix
    1 c. slivered almonds
    1 1/2 cubes melted butter
Preparation
    Spread cherries in bottom of greased 9 x 12-inch baking dish. Sprinkle dry cake mix on top.
    Top with almonds.
    Pour butter evenly over all.
    Bake 45 minutes in 375\u00b0 oven, until nuts are brown.
