Mexican Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. plain yellow corn meal
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    dash of salt
    2 beaten eggs
    1 1/2 c. sweet milk
    1 small can creamed corn
    1/2 c. oil
    1 lb. ground beef, browned and drained well
    1 large onion
    1 banana pepper, chopped
    2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Pour 1/2 of corn meal mixture into heated and greased 10-inch iron skillet (or may use 8 x 12-inch Pyrex baking dish, buttered). Then put browned hamburger, onions, banana pepper and cheese (in this order) and pour the rest of the corn meal mixture over this.
