Escalloped Pineapple - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. white bread, broken into bits (crust included)
    3 eggs, beaten
    1/2 c. milk
    3/4 stick melted butter or margarine
    3/4 c. (or less) sugar
    1 (No. 2) tall can pineapple tidbits, drained
Preparation
    Mix all together and place in 9-inch square pan.
    Bake 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Serves 5 to 6.
    Double this recipe for a 9 x 13-inch pan.
