Divinity Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white syrup
    1/2 c. water
    2 egg whites
    2 c. pecans
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cook sugar, syrup and water on high until a rolling boil; turn down.
    Cook to soft ball stage, then pour hot syrup into 2 beaten egg whites.
    Pour slowly.
    Add vanilla.
    Put chopped pecans in candy; stir until it cools and gets thick.
    You have to work quickly.
    It helps to have someone help dip it with teaspoons onto wax paper.
