Meringue Mushrooms - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/4 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. sugar
    hot cocoa mix
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 250\u00b0.
    In small bowl, beat egg whites until foamy.
    Add salt, cream of tartar and vanilla.
    Beat until soft peaks form.
    Gradually add sugar, 2 tablespoons at a time, beating at high speed until stiff peaks form.
    Fill pastry bag fitted with large writing tip with meringue.
    Pipe 15 mounds resembling \"caps\" of mushrooms (1 to 1 1/2 inches) on a foil-lined sheet.
    Pipe 15 \"stems\" (1 to 1 1/2 inches long).
    Sift cocoa mix over caps and stems.
    Bake for 25 to 35 minutes.
    Cool completely.
