Spiced Walnuts - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. white Karo corn syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 to 3 1/2 c. walnut halves
Preparation

For syrup, cook over medium heat approximately 5 minutes. Test the thickness of the syrup by putting small amount of the mixture in cold water to form soft ball.
Remove from heat.
Add nuts.
Stir the nuts until well coated.
Lay out on aluminum foil to set.
Cool.
Store in an attractive container, these make a wonderful hostess gift during the holidays.
