German Sweet Sour Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. vinegar (any kind you like)
Preparation
    Mix all except vinegar together, then add to vinegar.
    I sometimes heat this, but it's not necessary.
    Add 1 cup salad oil of your choice.
    Shake well and refrigerate.
    Very good on tossed vegetable salads.
    Also used on slaw, potato and macaroni salads using partly along with mayonnaise.
