Divinity - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/2 c. water

Preparation

Cook to hard ball stage, 260\u00b0.
While that is cooking, beat 2 egg whites until stiff peaks form.
Pour mixture over egg whites and beat at high speed until it holds its shape, 4 to 5 minutes. Pour into buttered 8 x 8-inch square pan or drop by spoonfuls on greased wax paper.
