Clam Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. garlic, minced
    1 small onion, chopped
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    2 cans chicken broth
    1 (6 1/2 oz.) can clams, undrained
    2 cans cream of potato soup
    1 to 2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. half and half
    4 slices bacon, chopped and partially cooked
Preparation
    Saute onion, garlic and margarine.
    Add broth and next 3 ingredients; stir well.
    Bring to boil; reduce heat.
    Add bacon. Simmer for 15 minutes.
    Add half and half.
    Cook until thoroughly heated.
