Quiche Lorraine - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 baked pastry shell
    6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
    2 c. shredded Swiss cheese
    3 green onions, thinly sliced
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 c. half and half
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Prepare pastry shell; set aside.
    Sprinkle bacon, cheese and onion over bottom of baked pastry shell.
    Mix eggs, half and half, salt, pepper and nutmeg.
    Pour over ingredients in the pastry shell.
    Cook, uncovered, in microwave oven for 9 1/2 to 11 minutes or until set; rotate the pie 1/4 turn once.
    Allow to stand 5 minutes before serving.
    Makes about 6 servings.
