Dumplings (16) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. shortening
1 c. milk
parsley or paprika
Preparation
-
Cut shortening into dry ingredients.
Add milk.
Mix quickly only until blended.
Drop by tablespoons onto chicken or beef stew.
Cook 10 minutes, uncovered, and 10 minutes covered. Sprinkle with parsley when done.
