Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up and not drained
    2 (16 oz.) cans dark red kidney beans, drained
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 to 3 tsp. chili powder
    1/2 tsp. dried basil
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. sugar
Preparation
    Brown ground beef, onion, green pepper and garlic.
    In a large saucepan, combine meat mixture with undrained tomatoes, tomato sauce, beans and all seasonings.
    Bring to a boil, reduce heat and cover.
    Simmer for 30 minutes.
