Kentucky Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. meal
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1 egg
3 Tbsp. shortening
Preparation

Sift together dry ingredients; add milk and egg.
Beat until smooth; add shortening.
Pour in skillet with small amount of heated oil.
Bake at 450\u00b0 until brown.
