Meatball Stew - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 egg, beaten
3/4 c. soft bread crumbs
3/4 c. chopped onions
1/2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. oil
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can beef broth
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1/2 tsp. thyme
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
Preparation

Combine beef, egg, bread crumbs, 1/4 cup onion and salt; mix well.
Shape in 1-inch balls.
Brown in hot oil; add remaining onions until wilted.
Drain off excess oil.
Add beef broth, tomato sauce, seasoning and vegetables.
Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
Add meatballs and cook until meatballs and vegetables are done.
