Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cake (angel food, pound cake, white cake)
    1 can fruit cocktail, drained
    1 can crushed pineapple, drained
    1 can cherry pie filling
    1 large Cool Whip
    1 vanilla instant pudding, prepared according to pkg. directions
    nuts, chopped (can use pecans or walnuts, etc.)
Preparation
    Break some cake into pieces and layer on the bottom of punch bowl, then layer the other ingredients in the following order: fruit cocktail, pineapple, Cool Whip, cake, pudding, cherry pie filling, nuts, Cool Whip and nuts for garnish. Refrigerate; may be made 24 hours in advance.
