Toffee Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. brown sugar
1 stick margarine
1 stick butter
40 saltine crackers (more or less)
12 oz. chocolate chips
Preparation

In a medium saucepan, combine the first 3 ingredients and boil for exactly 3 minutes.
Put heavy foil on cookie sheet.
Place 40 saltine crackers or how many it takes to cover pan.
Pour syrup over crackers.
Bake in a 400\u00b0 oven for 5 minutes.
When removed from oven, sprinkle with the chocolate chips.
Let them melt and smooth over crackers.
Sprinkle with nuts.
Let cool to set.
