Cabbage Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 head cabbage, grated
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. cornstarch
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 c. vinegar, slightly diluted
    dash of cayenne pepper
Preparation
    In a small bowl, beat egg and add slightly diluted vinegar and stir well.
    In a saucepan, put sugar and cornstarch and mix.
    Add egg and vinegar mixture slowly.
    Bring to boil and boil 1 minute. Add margarine and let melt.
    Add cayenne pepper.
    Cool.
    I then mix the dressing with some Miracle Whip about 50-50.
    Mix with cabbage.
