Easy Boiled Custard, I - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 egg yolks
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 heaping Tbsp. flour
    1 qt. milk, scalded
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Beat yolks, sugar and flour.
    Add 1 cup of the hot milk and mix well.
    Add the remaining milk and stir constantly over medium heat until thickened.
    Refrigerate.
    Serves 6 to 8.
