Tex-Mex Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground turkey or beef
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 garlic clove, crushed
    1 (28 oz.) can whole tomatoes (undrained)
    1 (4 oz.) can chopped mild green chillies (undrained)
    2 c. water
    2 envelopes chicken-flavored broth
    1 (17 oz.) can whole kernel corn (undrained)
    2 tsp. chili powder
    1 bay leaf
    3 small zucchini, sliced
Preparation
    In large saucepan, cook turkey or beef, onion and garlic until meat is browned; drain off fat.
    Add tomatoes, corn, chillies, water, broth, chili powder and bay leaf.
    Cover; simmer 20 minutes. Add zucchini; simmer 5 to 10 minutes more or until zucchini are tender-crisp.
    Makes 6 (1 3/4 cup) main-dish servings.
