Cornbread Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. soft biscuits or bread crumbs
    4 c. soft cornbread crumbs
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 c. diced celery
    1/2 c. cold butter, diced
    1 to 1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. sage
    1/4 c. chicken or turkey broth or water
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
Preparation
    In a large bowl, combine biscuit and cornbread crumbs, onion, celery and butter; mix well.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Add sage (rub spice gently between fingers to enhance flavor).
    Add chicken or turkey broth and eggs; mix lightly.
    Use mixture for stuffing poultry or a crown roast, or bake in a lightly greased baking pan, covered, at 350\u00b0 for about 30 minutes.
    Yields 8 servings.
