Chinese Chicken Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts
    1 Tbsp. ground ginger
    1 to 2 tsp. garlic powder
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 head crisp, dry romaine lettuce
    2 to 3 green onions, chopped
    1/2 c. toasted slivered almonds
    1/8 c. toasted sesame seed
    1 to 1 1/2 c. chow mein noodles
    1/4 c. salad oil
    1/4 c. cider vinegar
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Cut chicken into large, bite size pieces; season with ginger, garlic and pepper.
    Stir-fry in hot wok or skillet in 1 tablespoon oil until brown and cooked through (do not overcook).
    Place torn romaine in bowl.
    Put the chicken on the lettuce in the center; sprinkle chow mein noodles around the edge.
    Sprinkle remaining ingredients over the chicken.
