Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 potatoes, cubed
    1 stick oleo
    salt and pepper
    1 green pepper
    6 to 8 pieces bacon
    1 can Milnot or evaporated milk
Preparation
    Cut potatoes into small pieces and cover with water; boil until the potatoes are tender.
    Add the oleo, salt and pepper to taste. Chop the green pepper and add to the potatoes.
    Cook 6 to 8 pieces of bacon
    until crisp.
    Cut bacon into small pieces.
    Add bacon and small amount of bacon grease to potatoes.
    When pepper is tender, add 1 can Milnot.
    Thicken with small amount of cornstarch and water.
