Marble Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. oleo, melted
6 Tbsp. sugar (white)
6 Tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. flour, unsifted
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
6 oz. chocolate bits

Preparation

Mix first 5 ingredients well.
Add flour sifted with soda and salt.
Mix well.
Pour into greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Spread batter kind of thin.
Sprinkle chocolate bits over top.
Put in preheated oven at 350\u00b0 for 2 minutes.
Remove and use spoon to marbleize bits into batter.
Continue baking for an additional 12 to 14 minutes.
