Pauline'S Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10-inch pie crust
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3/4 and 1/8 c. dark corn syrup
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. chopped pecans (whole pieces for top)
    3/4 c. butter
    5 eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    If you like pecan pie . . . this is a great recipe!
    Cream butter, add sugar and continue to beat until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs, syrup and chopped nuts.
    Mix. Pour in pie shell.
    Put whole pieces on top.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
