Cream Cheese Pound Cake(Billy Carter'S Favorite) - cooking recipe

3/4 lb. butter or margarine
6 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. all-purpose flour
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
3 c. sugar
1 tsp. almond extract
Preparation

Cream together butter and cream cheese, blending in sugar with electric mixer.
Add eggs, one at a time and continue to blend. Add flavoring and beat until smooth and light.
Pour batter into greased and floured 10-inch tube pan.
Bake in preheated oven at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours or until cake is golden and tests done.
Cool in pan for 5 minutes.
