Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. raw peanuts
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white Karo
    3 Tbsp. water
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Cook in heavy skillet or kettle and boil about 12 minutes or until peanuts start popping,
    then add 1 teaspoon soda.
    Beat candy and pour into buttered pan.
    Break into chunks when cold.
