Fideo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (5 oz.) pkg. vermicelli
    1 lb. ground meat or 1 lb. thinly sliced round steak
    1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes, chopped
    1 Tbsp. oil
    1 chopped onion
    1 to 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped or mashed through garlic press
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Brown ground meat and onion in saucepan.
    In another large skillet brown vermicelli and garlic in oil.
    Add ground meat, chili powder, tomatoes and 1 cup water to vermicelli.
    Cover tightly and simmer for 10 minutes.
    Makes 4 large servings.
