Aunt Eva'S Chocolate Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 tsp. vanilla
1 Tbsp. cocoa
1 1/3 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. cornstarch or flour
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1/2 tsp. salt
3 egg yolks, beaten with a fork
Preparation

Sift sugar, flour, salt and cocoa together.
Set aside.
In a large saucepan, bring milk almost to a boil.
Add dry mixture and stir until it begins to thicken.
Add butter and egg yolks; stir until thick enough for pie.
Remove from heat and add vanilla. Pour into 9-inch unbaked pie shell.
Cool.
Add meringue and bake.
