Noodle Kugel (Pudding) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. egg noodles
    1/2 pt. sour cream
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    3/4 lb. cottage cheese
    4 eggs, separated
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 to 4 apples
Preparation
    Cook noodles in boiling water as directed on package.
    Beat egg whites until stiff.
    Beat egg yolks with sour cream, cottage cheese, sugar, vanilla and pepper.
    Fold in noodles.
    Fold in egg whites.
    Add apples, sliced and rolled in sugar and cinnamon. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 45 minutes in a greased 13 x 9-inch pan, uncovered.
