Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 box yellow cake mix
2 cans cherry pie filling
1 (16 oz.) can crushed pineapple
4 bananas
2 (8 oz.) bowls Cool Whip
4 boxes instant vanilla pudding mix
chopped nuts or coconut
Preparation

Bake cake as directed on box.
When cool, break into pieces. Drain pineapple thoroughly (save the juice).
Slice bananas into the pineapple juice.
Mix pudding as directed on package.
Using a punch bowl or a large bowl of your choice, put layer of broken cake on bottom, then pudding, pie filling, pineapple (well drained), bananas and Cool Whip.
Repeat layers.
Sprinkle with nuts or coconut.
Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
