Lemon Cups - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. flour
    1/8 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
    5 tsp. lemon juice
    grated rind of 1 lemon
    3 egg yolks, well beaten
    1 1/2 c milk, scalded
    3 egg whites, stiffly beaten
Preparation
    Combine sugar, flour, salt and butter.
    Add lemon juice and rind.
    Add to combined egg yolks and milk.
    Mix well, then fold in egg whites.
    Pour into 8 greased custard cups.
    Set in pan of hot water.
    Bake at
    325\u00b0
    for
    45 minutes.
    When baked each dessert will have custard on
    bottom
    and
    sponge cake on top.
    Serve with Cool Whip.
