Hill Billy Stir-Fry - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 petite steaks
1 large chopped onion
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1 (14 1/2 oz.) can white or yellow hominy
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Tenderize steaks overnight in 1 tablespoon of meat tenderizer and 2 tablespoons of water, turning several times.
Remove from marinade and pound to 1/4-inch thick.
Cut into small pieces, about 1 x 1/4-inch.
Fry until brown.
Add onion and green pepper. Fry until done.
Add hominy and half of hominy juice and salt and pepper to taste.
Serve with sweet and sour sauce, your own or a commerical brand.
