St. Paul'S Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. ground hot sausage, cooked and drained
9 c. boiling water
2 c. white rice
2 pkg. (4 envelopes) chicken noodle soup mix
2 large bell peppers, chopped
2 large Spanish onions, chopped
2 c. celery, chopped
2 (6 oz.) pkg. sliced almonds
paprika and parsley (to garnish)
Preparation

Brown sausage in skillet and drain. In a large pot, bring 9 cups of water to a boil. Add rice to water when boiling and cook for 7 minutes. Remove from heat. Add to rice and water the sausage, soup packages and vegetables. Stir all together. Then place mixture in casserole dish and bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0. Make for a large crowd. This recipe can be cut in half.
