Gingersnaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. shortening or oil
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. molasses
    1 egg
    2 tsp. soda
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. salt
    chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together.
    Chill in refrigerator; roll into small balls.
    Place on a greased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 5 to 6 minutes.
