German Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 stick margarine
1/2 c. butter flavor Crisco
1 box powdered sugar, sifted
1 pkg. German chocolate, melted in 1/4 c. hot water
3 eggs (room temperature)
2 1/4 c. plain flour
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Cream
together
at
room temperature the cream cheese, margarine
and
Crisco.
Add
powdered sugar, German chocolate (melted in\thot water before you start mixing cake), eggs (one at a
time),
plain
flour,
vanilla extract, baking soda and salt. Alternate
flour ingredients with buttermilk, beginning and ending
with flour.
Bake in 9-inch cake pans at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
Cool and frost.
