Ham And Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. softened butter or margarine
    4 potatoes, peeled and sliced (have used canned sliced potatoes)
    2 onions, sliced
    salt and pepper to taste
    4 ham slices (1/4-inch thick)
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Spread butter or margarine on bottom and sides of a 2-quart casserole dish.
    Layer potatoes and onion in prepared casserole dish.
    Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Arrange ham slices over top.
    Spoon soup evenly over ham slices. Sprinkle with cheese.
    Cover and bake 1 hour or until done.
