English Muffin Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 to 3 c. flour
    1 pkg. active dry yeast
    1 1/2 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. milk
    1/4 c. water
Preparation
    Combine 1 1/2 cups flour, yeast, sugar, salt and soda.
    Heat liquid
    to 120\u00b0 for milk and water.
    Add to dry mixture and mix well.
    Stir in enough flour to make stiff batter.
    Sprinkle top with corn meal.
    Put in 8 1/2 x 4 1/2-inch greased pan.
    Cover with wax paper for 45 minutes in a warm place.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
