Buns - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. milk
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 tsp. salt
    4 1/2 c. flour
    2 eggs
    1/2 cake yeast
    3/4 c. warm water
Preparation
    Scald milk, add sugar, salt and shortening.
    Cool until lukewarm.
    Pour in large bowl.
    Mix 2 cups flour into smooth paste. Add eggs and mix well, then add yeast and mix well.
    Add rest of flour (2 1/2 cups).
    Knead.
    Put in greased bowl and let rise until double in bulk.
    Make into buns and let rise.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 about 15 minutes, until golden brown.
