Fruited Rice With Cinnamon - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tsp. margarine
    1/2 oz. sliced almonds
    1/4 c. each: diced onions and canned ready-to-serve chicken broth
    4 dried apricot halves, diced
    2 Tbsp. golden raisins
    2 c. cooked long grain rice
    1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/8 tsp. each: salt and white pepper
Preparation
    In a 1-quart casserole, heat margarine on high 30 seconds. Add almonds and onions and microwave on High for 1 minute, stirring once until onions are tender.
    Add broth, apricots and raisins and microwave on High 2 minutes until rice is heated through.
    Add cinnamon, salt and pepper.
    Serves 4.
