Company Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. uncooked Minute Rice
1 (2 1/2 oz.) can sliced mushrooms (optional)
4 to 6 or more boneless chicken breasts
1 c. water
2 (10 3/4 oz.) cans soup (mushroom, cream of celery or cream of chicken)
1 (6 oz.) can sliced water chestnuts
1 (1 3/4 oz.) pkg. Lipton onion soup mix
Preparation

Sprinkle dry rice into the bottom of a well-greased baking dish.
In a large bowl, combine cans of soup, mushrooms and water chestnuts.
Shake the unopened envelope of onion soup mix to mix well.
Add 1/2 of the envelope to the soup mixture in the bowl. Stir well.
Pour mixture over the rice.
Place chicken breasts over the soup.
Pour the cup of water over the chicken breasts and sprinkle the other half of the dry onion soup mix over the chicken.
Cover with foil.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
