Pound Cake And A Half - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. butter Crisco
4 c. sugar
4 1/2 c. flour (plain)
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. milk
7 eggs
1 tsp. each: vanilla, butter and almond flavorings
Preparation

Cream the shortening and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well.
Add salt and baking powder to flour.
Add flour alternately with milk.
Add flavorings.
Grease and flour tube pan. Add strip of foil to top.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
This cake rises about 1 inch above pan.
