Sour Cream Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter Crisco
3 c. sugar
6 large eggs
1/2 tsp. flavoring (almond, orange, lemon and butter)
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
1 c. sour cream
2 c. cake flour
1 c. all-purpose flour
Preparation

Separate 5 eggs and beat first 5 egg whites until stiff gradually with 1 cup of the sugar.
Cream Crisco and 2 cups sugar until light and fluffy.
Add all flavorings and 1 whole egg and beat well.
Add the 5 egg yolks and beat well.
Sift both kinds of flour and salt together.
Add soda to sour cream and stir well. Using a medium mixing speed, add flour and sour cream alternately to the creamed mixture.
Slowly blend egg whites and pour into tube pan that has been greased and dusted with flour.
Place in cold oven and set temperature to 325\u00b0.
Bake 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Do not open oven during baking time.
