Pie Crust - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Crisco shortening
    1/4 c. butter
    3 c. flour
    pinch of salt
    1 egg, beaten
    1 Tbsp. vinegar, (I use apple cider vinegar)
    5 Tbsp. very cold 7-Up or Talking Rain
Preparation
    With a knife, cut first 4 ingredients until mixed well.
    Beat the egg really well and spread over the dough, the vinegar over the egg and then the 7-Up.
    Take a fork or spoon and mix well together. Roll, with your hands, into a ball or log.
    Wrap and put in refrigerator to cool.
    (It's easier to work with when cold.)
    Makes 2-9 inch pie crusts.
    (Not the deep dish kind.)
