Diabetic Dinner - Stuffed Green Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium green peppers
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    onion powder to taste
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1 lb. can tomatoes
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. uncooked long grain rice
    1 1/2 tsp. chopped parsley
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    sugar substitute to taste (if desired)
Preparation
    Cut off tops of green peppers; remove seeds and membrane. Precook green pepper shells in boiling salted water about 5 minutes; drain.
    Sprinkle inside of shells generously with salt.
