Nan'S Macaroni Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. elbow macaroni
    1 c. diced celery
    1/2 c. extra sharp Cheddar cheese, diced
    1 Tbsp. minced onion
    1 (6 1/2 oz.) can tuna, drained
    1/2 green pepper, diced
    3/4 c. mayonnaise
    1/4 c. cider vinegar
    1/4 c. water
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cook macaroni until barely tender (al dente).
    Drain; cool in running cold water.
    Drain well.
    Mix together celery, onion, pepper, cheese and tuna.
    Layer macaroni in thirds with layer of mix and 1/3 mayonnaise and vinegar.
    Mix gently.
    Chill.
