Taco Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1 can pinto beans
1 pkg. taco seasoning
1 medium onion, diced
1 c. water
1 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
1 bag taco chips, crushed
1/2 head lettuce
1 medium tomato
Ortega taco sauce
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Brown ground beef and onion in large skillet.
Drain grease.
Stir in water and seasoning mix.
Mash pinto beans; pour into hamburger mixture.
Simmer 10 minutes. Layer taco chips in 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
Pour hamburger mixture over crushed taco chips.
Top with cheese.
Bake 10 minutes or until cheese melts.
Cool 5 minutes.
Top each serving with diced lettuce and tomato.
Top with taco sauce if desired.
