Clam Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 (7 1/2 oz.) cans clams
    5 medium potatoes, diced
    1 large onion, diced
    2 slices cooked bacon
    1/4 c. butter
    1/4 c. flour
    1 1/2 c. milk
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Drain clams and retain liquid.
    Place potatoes, onion and bacon in saucepan.
    Nearly cover with clam liquid and water. Cover and simmer until potatoes are tender, approximately 25 minutes.
