Stir And Bake Fruit Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. butter
1 lb. golden raisins
12 eggs
4 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
2 Tbsp. vanilla
3 c. self-rising flour
3 qt. whole pecan halves
1 (8 oz.) pkg. dates
1 lb. red cherries
1 lb. green cherries
1 lb. coconut
1 lb. pineapple
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla.
Put raisins in hot water and set aside.
Cut up all fruit.
Put all cut up fruit and whole nuts into large pan.
Drain raisins and add.
Add flour over fruit.
Stir with hands.
Add butter mixture and stir well (use hands).
I use a large roaster to mix and cook in.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
Stir every 15 minutes while baking.
Remove from oven.
Pack into tube or loaf pans greased with wax paper on bottom.
Let stand overnight. Return to warm oven for 5 minutes; empty.
Serves large crowd.
