Easy Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. peeled, sliced fresh peaches
    1/2 c. butter or oleo, softened
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. cornstarch
    1 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Place peaches in a lightly greased 12 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish. Set aside. Cream butter and add 3/4 cup sugar. Beat well.
