10-Minute Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. light Karo
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. roasted salted peanuts (with jackets)
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Microwave the sugar, Karo and salt on High 5 minutes.
    Stir in the peanuts; microwave on High 2 to 4 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes, until lightly browned.
    Stir in the butter or margarine, vanilla and baking soda.
    Stir until light and fluffy.
    Spread to 1/4-inch thickness on large, well buttered cookie sheet.
    Let cool at room temperature.
